About
I am a third-year PhD student at the University of Southern Queensland, working with Dr. Rob WIttenmyer and Dr. Duncan Wright on ground-based photometric follow-up of TESS observations of small planets around faint stars using the Minerva-Australis array. Since 2020, I have been working with Dr. Jessie Christiansen on exoplanet demographics.
I graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics. During that time, I wrote articles for Florida Tech’s digital magazine, the eCurrent, worked as a peer leader (Resident Assistant) and began working on exoplanet research.
I have worked on curriculum design, science writing, and teacher training.
I am enthusiastic about actively pursuing curriculum development, education, writing, and community development in addition to astronomy research and outreach. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions about any of these and please definitely reach out if you would like to collaborate on similar or related projects!
